High Over the years, we have created numerous party themes. The Ultimate Art Party for Kids, a Pancake and Pyjama Party that will make you laugh out loud, and a National Park Birthday suited for an adventurer! I asked Evie what kind of celebration she would like as her ninth birthday drew near. When she said, “A Tea Party Birthday,” I was taken aback. I felt that tea gatherings were outdated for some reason. I therefore made it my goal to think of the most creative tea party themes for older girls. After all, they are young girls, so high tea felt appropriate. Here’s how I added WHIM to our adorable tea party birthday celebration for Evie. Links to all the materials you need to replicate this girls’ party theme are provided below.
Tea Party Birthday Decoration
Everything flowery, old, and elegant comes to mind when I think of a tea party. A spot to sit and have high tea is essential. For recipe suggestions, continue reading below. In terms of décor, balloons didn’t seem appropriate for a tea gathering. For these princesses-in-training, we needed something a bit more “grown-up,” even though I adore a nice balloon arch or garland. What about a floral wall? The ideal background for a joyful tea gathering was this enormous wall of pink flowers. It appeared very wonderful and was the perfect backdrop for photos. Adorable teacups and tablecloths with flowers or lace can also make a big addition to your birthday display. These bud vases, which resemble stacked teapots and cups, have captured my heart.
Tea Party Food Ideas
You can’t have a tea party without tea and finger sandwiches, and you can’t have a party without food. Our tea celebration included trays of tea sandwiches, fruit, and cookies. It would be an understatement to say the girls were giggling uncontrollably! These meals would be perfect for a tea party birthday celebration. Remember to bring tea. We advise you to serve children’s tea without caffeine. Raspberry or rose are excellent flavors for children. Remember to grab some sugar cubes as well. I adore these sugar cubes in the shape of hearts!

Activities For Kid’s Tea Party
Dressing up is something that most young girls like doing, and a tea party is the ideal occasion to do it. The girls never stopped playing dress-up! They had a great time swapping out their dresses, trying on hats and gloves, and changing out their accessories. For their high tea celebration, they were looking for the ideal attire. We put on a spectacular fashion display as a result of all the wardrobe changes. This was a lot of fun for the girls. We let them come out and show off their clothes as we played music. Ultimately, we snapped photos and printed them from the phone so they could bring one home with them. This smartphone-connected photo printer comes highly recommended.
We also made princess crowns for a minute. They appeared to truly love this exercise as well, as they all sat and coloured and embellished paper crowns. Seeing how each girl adorned her princess crown was entertaining. I really like the large colour sheets for celebrations if you don’t want to make crowns. Everyone always gathers around the table and collaborates as a result! It’s a very simple, kid-friendly activity that doesn’t require much setup. For this celebration, the Tea Time Colour Sheet would be ideal.
